This Detech 11,5″ Ultimate DD search coil is compatible with the Garrett ACE Apex metal detectors. By upgrading to this coil you will achieve the best depth and most accurate pinpointing. This 13″ search coil is bigger and more sensitive than the standard coil, it makes the detector more stable on beaches and pastures, as well as giving it an increased performance in electromagnetically noisy environments. Compared to traditional DD coils, the patented Ultimate coil technology provides you with more stable operation, better ground balancing, and the most accurate target identification. All Detech search coils are produced using the highest quality materials and most advanced manufacturing techniques. The coil is filled with the latest lightweight resins strengthened with glass fibers and a chopped strand material for the best in shock resistance. The materials are “transparent” to the electromagnetic waves and provide perfect shielding. The coils are UV and waterproof and operate in a wide temperature range. This coil comes standard with coil cover, with a system for secure doing-up. This coil is light for its size it weighs approximately 580 g.
It has been thoroughly tested by both companies on omniferous terrains in various conditions: dry and wet ground, dry and wet sand, mineralized soil and even immersed in water.
